Bentonite is a clay-like mineral that gets rid of positively charged particles from wine. Add prior to fundamental fermentation to clear pectic and protein haze. Add 2 teaspoons with 1/2 a cup of boiling water (or very scorching) and stir for 1-2 minutes. After the answer stands for an hour, mix and stir the answer into your wine. Let stand for 7-14 days right through fundamental fermentation, then rack right into a sanitized carboy.
